The very fine silk is a luxurious lightweight fabric made from the fibers spun by silkworms. Rugs from Nepal are know for their exceptional detail, sheen and softness.
The silk gives a natural, luminous glow, colors seem to shift subtly as you move around the rug because the light catches the silk fibers differently from each angle.
